Thanks to my divorce abroad, I found a new path
In my life as an expat, I have met many women who, like me, have found new opportunities and new paths to develop their careers. When I met Valerie, she was for the 2nd time moving to Jakarta. It was the first time for my family and me.
Valerie first followed the path to become a museum guide, and then she took onboard another challenge, and thanks to her talented writing skills, she started working for le petit journal.
When she contacted me to write an article about my professional reorientation, I could only be pleased and blessed to be put into the spotlight.
The article is about how a traumatic experience in my couple when I lived in Indonesia led me years later to create my coaching program and then become a certified divorce coach.
Many expat women like me face adultery during their nomad life. Some, like me, will remain married for another few years until staying in a non-happy and fulfilling relationship is no longer feasible.
I hope my story will inspire others to follow their heart and trust their guts.
Because sometimes, it is what we fear the most that help us reveal our best self.
